Still Life
Welcome to this brand new website. Descriptions of each painting will be completed very soon. Please stay in touch.
When the weather is inclement, wet or very, very dull, Still Life is a way to delight in some colour. What better place is there to find it, than in the kitchen in the preparation of some comfort food; or to root out some forgotten items from a closet or box before passing them on to some other future, hence enlivening a memory (hopefully a good one) once more. Indulging in some imported colour from the floral department at the grocery store can uplift one’s spirits when January brings only 3 days of sunshine. My preference is always Nature, but these solutions will do.
